Kate Hatoum

Kate joined DiamondCorp in 2012. As Vice President of Development, she is responsible for managing all aspects of the municipal approvals process including large-scale, multi-phase, mixed-use developments with significant city building attributes. In her 13 years in the development industry, she has secured over 8 million square feet of redevelopment in Toronto and the GTA. Most recently, she secured approvals for Brightwater, a 72 acre, 4.5 million square foot master planned community on Lake Ontario in Port Credit, Mississauga.

From 2013-2020, Kate sat on the Homes First Foundation Board where she was a member of the Real Estate Portfolio Committee and Chair of the Events Committee. Kate holds a Masters of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (Hons) from Queen’s University. Kate is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
