Merton & Yonge explores the next use of a midtown site with a history of its own. The property at 50 Merton Street is designated for its cultural heritage value.

The redevelopment proposal combines a new mixed-use building with retention of part of the existing heritage façade. It brings the question of how Toronto grows into focus: making room for new homes while keeping a visible connection to the street’s past.
